Next I'll attempt to describe the Toledo Cathedral. My words or photos won't do it any justice. Its a splendid cathedral built over 250 years! Steeped in history.

We took a bus from Granada to Cordoba, the day before yesterday. Left out luggage at the storage.lockers and explored the city. We'll start first with a look around town followed by a visit to the Mezquita-Cathedral of Cordoba

As with many cities here Cordoba went from being ruled by Christians to Moors back to Christians. During Moorish times and.early Christian reconquest Jews, Christians and Muslims lived in harmony. But then Christian rulers decided to be purists and intolerant about other faiths. You'll see buildings / neighborhoods having influences from.different cultures and periods

Since it was built for the choir society it was built on the cheap ie they didn't have a lot of money. The materials.used are local. The structural frame is made of wrought iron, the walls are primarily stained glass windows and the stone is local
